Complete Coffee Pty Ltd is dedicated to conducting business responsibly and ethically. We view our suppliers as partners and expect them to align with the principles outlined in this Supplier Code of Conduct, ensuring ethical practices throughout their operations and supply chains. Environmental Responsibility

  • Compliance: Suppliers must adhere to all applicable environmental regulations and hold necessary permits and licenses.
  • Sustainable Practices: Suppliers should:
    • Ensuring the safe use of agro-chemicals and avoiding banned pesticides; following a strict, proactive approach focused on regulatory compliance, training, and strict adherence to product labels.
    • Commit to pollution prevention and efficient use of resources, minimising waste and emissions.
    • Reduce their carbon footprint through energy optimisation and sustainable water management.
    • Avoid deforestation and protect natural habitats and biodiversity.
    • Implementation of Integrated Pest Management systems.
    • Ensure Safe Application and Handling before and during transit, including no chemicals or animals and no sign of pest activity or infestation.
    • Verify Quality through Testing and Certification.
    • Control Program for Allergens and Traceability.

Social Responsibility

  • Human Rights: Suppliers are expected to implement human rights due diligence and maintain a grievance mechanism for reporting violations, including an anonymous grievance procedure.
  • Labour Standards: Suppliers must comply with:
    • Core labour standards outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and ILO conventions including the right to work, free choice of employment, just and favourable conditions, and protection against unemployment and unfair work.
    • Prohibition of forced, bonded, or child labour; all workers must be 15 years or older.
    • Regulations on working hours, wage laws, and benefits, ensuring at least minimum wage is paid.
  • Workplace Safety: A safe working environment is required, including access to water and sanitary facilities.
  • Non-Discrimination: Suppliers must foster a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and violence, respecting diversity in all forms.

Governance

  • Legal Compliance: Suppliers must operate within the law, adhering to antitrust laws and prohibiting bribery and corruption.
  • Transparency: Suppliers are required to maintain accurate records for at least five years related to purchases and sales, allowing for traceability.
  • Due Diligence: Suppliers should implement systems to identify risks and take preventive measures, notifying Complete Coffee of any breaches.
  • Availability of (MSDS) and (SDS): Safety data sheets are mandatory for providing critical safety, handling, storage and disposal information for hazardous chemical products.
  • Product Information Specifications: Raw materials including green coffee beans, roasted coffee beans and packaging materials require detailed specification sheet for manufacturing and development, including the correct labelling information.
